Assignment 10

The constitutional basis of presidential power is quite modest, yet today the President of the United States is often thought to be the most powerful man in the world. Is that an accurate assessment? Why did this office evolve to encompass this greater power? Are there any attempts to restrict this power? Have they been successful? Why or why not? These answers should fill a two-three page paper, in a conventional 12-point font, with one inch margins, and handed in at the beginning of class on Wednesday, June 20.
